ChildServe provides 24-hour skilled nursing care for children and young adults needing support for a variety of complex medical needs, including those needing technology-dependent care. Our pediatric experts provide IV treatments, enteral feedingEnteral feeding involves delivering nutrients needs directly into a person’s stomach, or bowel. Common methods of enteral feeding include NG, gastrostomy, and jejunostomy. ChildServe supports all of these feeding options.
, and infusion therapy. Through partnership with ChildServe Respiratory Care, we serve children who are ventilator or tracheostomy dependent. We offer these medical treatments and technology-dependent care in our kid-friendly, family-focused environment at our inpatient programs, Homecare and Medical Childcare.

Program costs are authorized and funded through commercial insurance and Iowa Medicaid. Specific fees will be discussed during the intake/admission process.
Where are services provided?
Technology-dependent Care is offered in the inpatient program at ChildServe in Johnston. We also provide technology-dependent support through our Homecare and Medical Childcare programs.
