When children turn 18, they become legal adults with the right to make their own decisions. However, if an individual lacks the ability to make their own decisions, then someone else may need to help with decision-making. What options do parents have to give their children as much independence as possible while keeping them safe? To help parents dive into these topics, Jennifer Donovan with the Office of Public Guardian will present on substitute decision-making.
