Sensory processing is a term you might have heard or read about, but what does it mean? For every child and family, sensory processing and sensory regulation can look different. ChildServe occupational therapists, Danielle Hubby, OTD, OTR/L, CEIM, and Katie McCabe, OTR/L, will present on what sensory processing is and how difficulties and differences in sensory regulation can impact children and young adults. They will present on common myths and misconceptions about sensory regulation, what signs to look out for, and when to partner with healthcare professionals for extra support.
