Golf FORE! the Kids 2024 Raises $164,000

Proceeds to support ChildServe services, equipment and programming advancements.
Over 180 golfers participated in ChildServe‘s 31st annual golf outing, raising over $164,000 to help children with special healthcare needs live a great life. Thank you to our event sponsors, golf participants and donors for making an incredible impact for the children and families we serve!

At this year’s outing, a special fundraising effort was focused on ChildServe Day Habilitation, which helps young adults with special healthcare needs transition into adulthood. Through individual goals and activities, young adults gain and retain skills they need for greater independence and community integration. Many young adults work toward goals like improving self-care and job readiness.

This year, our event hosted several special guests from ChildServe‘s Day Habilitation program through the Snack Shack. The Snack Shack allows individuals to practice job readiness skills like socializing with customers, making transactions and stocking shelves.

Thank You!

A special thank you to The Weitz Company, Glen Oaks Country Club, our event co-chairs Adam Kaduce and Matt Grotnes, and the 2024 golf committee including Dan Hartlieb, Jim Hagenbucher, Matt Lundberg, Nick Miller, Tanner Kinzler, Teri Wahilg, M.D., Mark Hargrafen and Jordan Juhl Marcon. We are grateful for your work in bringing this incredible event to life!
