ChildServe volunteers are found in every area of the organization. They offer friendship and care to the children we serve, and provide much-needed support so our staff can help each child live a great life! Volunteer opportunities are available for individuals and groups at every ChildServe location and for all of our services. There are many opportunities to be involved directly with the children, or to support children indirectly, based on your interests. Volunteers are needed during the day, evenings, and weekends. No experience is necessary. Time involvement will vary based on each volunteer’s schedule and availability. Opportunities can be scheduled on a one-time basis or as an ongoing volunteer opportunity.

What You Can Do as a ChildServe Volunteer

• One–To–One Activities (ChildServe Center and ChildServe Homes) – Make a connection with a child as you do things you both enjoy, including reading, socializing, going for walks, creating art projects, playing games, and much more. Click here for current opportunities.
  

• Activity Assistant (ChildServe Center) – Contribute to great life for the children by setting up leisure activities. Click here for current opportunities.
  

• Childcare (Johnston Childcare Center) – Assist children with arts and crafts or participate in fun water day activities. Click here for current opportunities.
  

• Aquatics (ChildServe Center) – Play water games, swim, & gentle guide the children in our 93 degree indoor pool. Click here for current opportunities.
